Water has damaged the wood roof decking boards because the sheet metal would over-flow.
The underlayment failed and the tile roof needed dry rot repairs.
Now this home has an "Open Valley Configuration" down the length of each valley.
Cut the tiles in the valley areas.
Lift the tile and remove the leaves, dirt and other debris.
Replace the damaged wood found along the over-hangs.
Matching wood on the roof was 1 by 8 V-Rustic lumber.
Install new rubberized underlayment for a watertight and permanent condition.
Install the existing tiles back into their original locations.
Thank you for helping people get the information they need. Great stuff as usual. Keep up the great work!!!
